Traffic control

Controlling vehicle access.

Automatic boom gates are a great way to control traffic entering and exiting a car park. Boom gate systems are ideal for efficiently controlling vehicles accessing your car park.

We have installed and continue to support boom gate systems across many types of site:

  • Commercial car parks
  • Strata buildings
  • Warehouse & industrial
  • Schools & universities

Accessories

Boom gate accessories.

A range of accessories to make sure your Automatic Security Gate System works reliably and provides the security you need.

  • Inground loop detectors.

Installed in-ground so they are vandal proof. Used for free-exit of vehicles leaving the car park, or set up as a safety device so vehicles are not impacted by a closing boom gate.

  • Photo-electric safety beams.

A necessity on any boom gate system, protecting vehicles and trailers from a closing boom as well as pedestrians.

  • Articulated boom arms.

Ideal for car parks with restricted clearance that stops the arm fully opening. The arm folds to account for the lower clearance as it opens.

  • Lower skirt.

Prevents people from entering or exiting under the boom arm.

  • Resting arm.

Lets the boom arm rest in a support stand when closed. Ideal where people are likely to push the arm down, for example to climb over it.

  • Folding pedestal.

Mounts onto the boom arm to help support it when closed.

  • Flashing light.

Now required on many sites to meet WH&S requirements. The light flashes while the boom gate is operating.

  • Sounder.

Required on some commercial, industrial and strata sites to advise people around the gate that the boom is operating.
